One of the aspects of my work that I enjoy most is collaborating with talented creatives to bring unique artistic elements into interior spaces. I'm delighted to be working with Camilla Hampton Interiors on a series of bespoke hand-painted trims that are being transformed into decorative mirrors and incorporated into beautifully curated interiors.

In a world increasingly dominated by mass production, there is something incredibly special about creating pieces that are entirely handmade. Each trim begins as a blank surface and is carefully painted by hand, allowing every brushstroke, motif and detail to contribute to a one-of-a-kind design. The result is not simply a decorative frame, but a piece of functional art.

The collaboration combines Camilla Hampton Interiors' refined eye for interior design with my passion for hand-painted ornamentation and decorative painting. Together, we are exploring how traditional craftsmanship can be reimagined for contemporary interiors, creating pieces that add character, individuality and a sense of storytelling to a space.

The hand-painted trims are designed to complement a variety of interiors, from classic country homes to more contemporary settings. Once transformed into mirrors, they become focal points within a room, reflecting both light and artistry. The painted details bring warmth and texture, while celebrating the beauty of handcrafted decoration.

What I particularly love about this project is the opportunity to create something truly bespoke. Rather than selecting an off-the-shelf object, clients receive a piece that has been carefully considered, designed and painted by hand. This level of craftsmanship allows each mirror to feel personal and distinctive, reflecting the character of the home it inhabits.

Collaborations like this highlight the growing appreciation for artisanal processes within interior design. Handmade decorative elements have the power to elevate a space, introducing layers of detail that cannot be replicated by machine-made products.

I look forward to sharing more of these pieces as they develop and to seeing how they are incorporated into future interior projects. It's always rewarding to see decorative painting move beyond walls and murals, finding new forms and applications within thoughtfully designed spaces.

Watch this space for further updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the painting process.
