A project with Benjamin Raymond, we were commissioned by Dr. Tatiana + Rishi Aesthetics, a renowned cosmetic clinic on Harley Street. Katinka created ceiling murals across their four-floor premises spanning eight rooms, including two reception areas, each space was adorned with a calming and distinctive design featuring a serene blue sky, soft white clouds, and swallows gracefully swooping overhead.

Textured finishes involve techniques that create depth and visual interest, and are transferable onto most surfaces including walls, carpentry and ceilings. These finishes can range from subtle textures, like brushed pearl, to more pronounced effects, such as lacquer, knockdown, or troweled finishes.

Using tools such as sponges, brushes, or trowels to apply and manipulate materials, resulting in a variety of tactile and visual patterns that enhance the overall design of a luxury interior space. The use of metallics also creates another genre and allows this versatile finish to be used further.

Renowned for her professionalism and artistic skill, Katinka is able to work in a range of styles to suit her client's taste and her hand painted wallpaper can be found in a multitude of commercial and private properties across London and overseas.

Verre églomisé is a decorative technique that involves painting designs on the back of a glass panel before gilding to the reverse side of the glass, creating a reflective, luminous effect. Églomisé gives pieces a luxurious, timeless feel and is often associated with vintage or classical design. The design is protected under the glass, which helps preserve it from damage, unlike surface painting which might wear off over time, often used in high-end décor and bespoke items for its striking visual impact and sophisticated look.

A contemporary artist, Katinka focuses on repurposing and restoring second hand furniture otherwise destined for landfill. Lovingly restoring and repurposing unwanted wooden pieces, Katinka turns them into unique works of art. Going way beyond giving them just ‘a lick of paint’, each piece becomes a detailed and much admired artwork.
