A SHOWER OF STARS
Covering all four walls and the ceiling of a master bathroom with decorative gold stars, the client wanted to be able to shower under the night sky. The owner wanted their top floor London apartment to be stylish and contemporary, and so commissioned Katinka to paint her bathroom with an idea she had been dreaming about for a while.
With a deep and dramatic blue background, the stars are painted facing in all directions, allowing subtle constellations to appear no matter which way you look. Simple and elegant, this paint finish adds a touch of magic to the bathroom.
THE ANGEL, DARTMOUTH
Asked to paint the showpiece artwork for award-winning restaurant, The Angel, in Dartmouth. Recent finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals and head chef at the restaurant, Elly Wentworth, approached Katinka and commissioned her to create a mural of a contemporary and sculptural angel. Wanting to reference the name of the restaurant, Katinka worked with Elly and Pennie (Interior Designer) to create the bespoke artwork.
Painted on a large wooden panel the mural now hangs in the centre of the restaurant for everyone to see.
A PAINTED BOOKSHELF
Commissioned to paint a large 6ft trompe l'oeil bookshelf, which the client could later attach to a doorway in their house to create a hidden room at the end of a corridor. Wanting to hide the rarely used room, Katinka created a beautifully painted optical illusion that tricks everyone into thinking it is a real bookshelf. Painted on a wooden panel in oil, each book and object is personalised to suit the client’s particular taste and hobbies.
Wanting to restore and turn their showman's wagon into an unusual AirB&B destination in rural Dorset, the client approached Katinka and asked her to paint the entire ceiling throughout.
Starting with a dusky evening sky as you enter, a setting sun disappears behind the front door, and fluffy white clouds float between the rustic gypsy gold beams. Wanting to reflect the wagon’s heritage, bundles of flowers and feathers are hand painted above the doorways. The mural continues into the bedroom where the ceiling and back wall are painted with the night sky, shooting stars, and a full moon peeking out from behind the clouds, silhouetting the local landmark, Colman’s Hill behind the bed.
A MOUSE IN THE HOUSE
Hidden in the corner of the clients kitchen, Katinka painted an incredibly realistic little mouse peering out of his hole.
Working to the highest standard, Katinka's charismatic little creatures add a touch of magic to any room. Available as a traditional mural painted directly on to a wall, door, or skirting board, you can also order your very own little mouse on wood.
A scenic view of the client's favourite place, Eggardon Hill in Dorset, the mural fills a large alcove behind the dining table.
Wanting their friends and family to be able to look out across the Jurassic Coast whilst being entertained, the painting captures the local landmark perfectly. Painted in oil, this project took the artist approximately 175 hours to complete.

Commissioned to paint the large interior walls of a then soon to be opening cider shop, Isaac Cider, in Beaminster. Wanting something to help advertise the product and draw in more customers, the client wanted the mural to describe the cider making process in a whimsical way.
Working with one of the company directors to create the design, it begins with the humble apple. The apples are picked, bagged, pressed, bottled and sold, all within the wall. Incorporating their logo and label designs, the project took approximately 5 weeks to complete and goes into great detail.
CHARD TOLL HOUSE
CIAG, Chard Improvement Action Group, approached Katinka and asked her to recreate another local artists work on a large outdoor wall, to help bring the community of Chard together.
Teaming up with the local members, Katinka turned the original artwork by Andre Skriven in to a paint by numbers, so everyone could get involved no matter what their artistic background. Organising the group over two days to come together and paint the wall, the artist then finished and sealed the mural, which has been greatly welcomed by the local community.
Known for her beautiful and decorative painted animals, birds, and insects, the artist is able to paint incredibly realistic murals, large or small, to an incredibly high standard.
Her charismatic animals add a touch of magic to any playroom, nursery or bedroom. This tiger was painted in a child’s bedroom to sit by their bed.
